Departure Point and Access
All Ascendance Parapente flights take place primarily at iconic sites within the Chamonix Mont-Blanc ski area. All meeting points are located near ski lift departures. I will provide you with all the necessary information for the activity (GPS coordinates, clothing, footwear, etc.):
- Aiguille du Midi (3800 m)
- Plan de l’Aiguille – Aiguille du Midi (2300 m)
- Brévent – Planpraz
- La Flégère (late autumn)
Conditions and Safety
All flights are supervised by Xavier, a certified instructor by the French Ministry of Youth and Sports.
- Flights are adapted to weather conditions, flight type, and passengers. A complete and tailored briefing will be provided before each takeoff.
- Weather is a determining factor: in case of adverse conditions, your flight may be postponed or modified to ensure your safety.
Recommended Equipment
To fully enjoy your experience, I recommend bringing the following equipment:
- Warm and comfortable clothing, appropriate for the season
- Sports or hiking shoes
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- Lightweight gloves or ski gloves
All other equipment is provided on site: harness, helmet, and small crampons for hard snow.
